👋 Hi, friends on Indie Hackers. I am preparing for a launch on Product Hunt soon and I am seeking to get third party perspectives. I want to see how people are using the app and from that, I want to gather a list of highly important tasks that need to be done before the launch date.
All I need from you is to hop on a video call. Share your screen as you make a few videos. Then fill out a quick google form to share your experience. This should take between 5-15 min of your time.

Wonderfully designed landing page. One line stuck out to me, though...
"Increase your revenue by 200%."
How'd you come to that figure? I'd at least expect a case study showing those results or a link to some study that compared edited videos to unedited ones.
My BS meter sort of took over what was an otherwise nice experience reading through your page.

I really want a case study there. I agree! My thinking is that this product needs to be able to double my users' revenue. I am just setting the bar high for the product. Realistically I want to help users grow by 1000%. I believe your product/service should yield your customers and clients at least 10x what they paid you. I do think it needs to be followed up with a case study. Currently working on making that happen. I am just going off of what I believe it can do and maybe it'll be a self-fulfilling prophecy for the user. Meaning if we all believe it can happen and we execute it will happen. Then I'll get my case study ;)

Good catch. I think it’s due to how the app behaves. I’ve disabled scroll bars for the app and the landing page shares the same codebase. Easy fix, thanks for catching.
I loved the website. It is a little sluggish tho but not so noticeable. There was another app called Legend which was similar to https://storycreatorapp.com. Canva is also experimenting with similar video features. I think the level of customisation offered by story creator is an important differentiating factor.
I'd love to share more insights & knowledge about tools in the video animation and video editing niche.

Your product looks really cool! I'm not much of a video creator/social media user but I'd be happy to provide feedback if it's helpful ([email protected]).
That would be awesome. Just seeing someone use it and if it feels intuitive. I do want to target users that have a burning pain that they’re happy to deal with quirks because it’s such a problem. But I’d also like for there not to be quirks and the experience to be amazing. So I need to find those customers but in the meantime mitigating any hiccups would be great. Thanks for being cool, I’ll follow up via email and we can setup a time.

Just checked that out. Looks like a cool tool. I built it using react and good ol hand crafted code.
