I want to start from scratch, please give me advice in feedback loop and beta user

I build some products before but failed, mostly not meet with PMF.

Now, i want to start from scratch. i want to learn from you guys

I want to know your insight in building product that people actually need .

i have some questions :

1. Do you get feature ideas mainly from user requests, or do you pitch ideas and let users upvote?

2. How do you involve beta testers? Do you handpick a group for each feature or keep an ongoing tester pool?

3. What’s your go-to way to communicate with them, Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, or something else?
