I spent days and days searching for a decent B2B persona template.
And all of them were either aimed at B2C or were limited, focusing on irrelevant data or missing important details.
So I decided to create one that offers an extensive list of the most common data you need to map your buyer persona.
And I also prepared a how-to blog, walking you through the process of research and creation.
I won't ask for likes, comments, or whatever to share it with you.
You can freely do it here.

π How-to blog post: https://www.diligentstudios.com/blog/create-your-b2b-buyer-persona/
The only thing I'd ask for in return is to leave your feedback in the comments.
I really want to know if you found these resources useful, what you liked and what you didn't.
Thanks π
Hi Andrea, this is awesome! thank you. Can it be more like a tool that guides you and less like a template? People don't read and even when they do the value is not always clear to them right away. I think maybe it would be easier to begin with a tool/wizard/mini-app that guides you through out the process instead of giving the visitors long instructions to read and follow. I'm talking out of my personal experience of course and it might not be the case with your template but in general I've noticed that such guidance encourage people to engage more with the product/activity, etc.
Hi there, thanks a lot for taking the time to provide such useful insights! Yup, that would be the next step. We wanted to validate that people will actually use this template and then create a generator. Because it would take up much more resources to develop an interactive generator than it did to prepare this template. So let's see how this goes!
Thanks again :)
I think this is very interesting and extremely helpful, I'm curious how could this support businesses just starting? If they only have market research data, could this help them?
Great question! Customer research can also be part of market research when you validate your business idea with potential customers. So if you have the chance to interview people from your ICP, I'd definitely suggest doing it.
However, if it's too costly or it's just hard to arrange the interviews you can move forward with what research you have and then start interviewing customers down the line as you acquire them.
I don't like the additional window 'Privacy Settings'. I don't know and understand, but all these windows are annoying, especially windows which opening on size of the whole page. Maybe, you need to make it much smaller.
I'm not professional designer, but in my opinion, you have a lot of empty space on the center of your main page and others. It's not good for me, as a visitor. It feels that you didn't say all or didn't complete something.
Also, a lot of space to the right of the page 'Privacy Policy". You can center the text or add some pictures on the right side. It's a little boring to read only text.
I like 'Start a project' page.
The main page is interesting too, how you put items diagonally.
I think you can also play with different text fonts there or with colors, or add opportunity to highlight project showcase's items.
Thanks for the feedback @Sergo! Valuable hearing this and thinking on implementing some changes very soon.
This looks proper. Congrats! Will try to use it next time I have a B2B project at hand :) did it take long to make this?
Thanks! I was creating it while working on 20+ B2B projects, so it's really practical, based on real life examples. It did take a while to put it all together.
I made this tool that can complement with buyer persona. I made automated seo research tool for business blogging. You just need to specify what the business is about and what the customer persona.
Then the tool will search through the google trends and reddit trends to get the best blog topic and keywords that can attract the customer to the business.
I think my tool complement this quite well so maybe you can checkout my tool at creativeblogtopic.com
