I Was Gifted an AI Chrome Extension. Now What!?

Last month Eric in one of his ‘Exploding Ideas’ newsletters announced that he is giving away tldr AI Chrome extension ReaderMax - summarize content with one click. I applied and later Eric transferred full ownership to me.

Now What!?

Initially, ReaderMax's capabilities were limited to summarizing only copy-pasted text. I read that Eric had envisioned that seamless experience where one could summarize content with just one click, without the hassle of copy-pasting. With similar extensions, I also noticed that they are limited to 2500 - 3000 word articles.

So I rebuilt the extension to summarize the content with one click and longer articles. The longest I tested so far has been 5434 words. Moreover, in tests, I discovered that it is able to read and summarize texts behind a paywall.

What's next

I want to try to monetize the extension. In the coming months, I will be researching and testing the best offer to users who benefit the most from this extension.

Meanwhile

Readermax v.2 is now published in Chrome Web Store. Try it out, let me know what you think, and what is the longest article it was able to summarize!

Thanks for the tips! Raising awareness is definitely the priority and all three things could serve that.
