I work with a lot of long documents—reports, PDFs, research papers, and the occasional contract. What bothered me wasn’t just the reading time, but how much mental energy it took to figure out what actually mattered in each document.
I tried the usual things: skimming, highlighting, notes, and even other tools. They helped a bit, but most still required significant manual effort or setup. I wanted something simpler: upload a document and quickly understand the key points without wrestling with the process.
So I ended up building a small web app that analyzes documents and automatically extracts summaries and key insights. I’ve been using it myself to review reports and papers faster, and it’s noticeably reduced the time I spend just trying to get context.
It’s still early, and I’m actively improving accuracy and UX based on real usage. I’m especially curious how others here handle document overload—what slows you down the most when dealing with long PDFs or written reports?
Happy to share more details if anyone’s interested, and very open to feedback (good or bad).
Congratulations on your launch. It looks impressive! What channels are you exploring to attract early users?
