I was tired of manually applying for jobs—so I decided to build a tool to automate it (Zapply)

I’ve been working on a simple idea: Automating job applications for remote software engineers.
Why?
Applying to remote jobs is a pain. You have to:
Search job boards daily.
Re-enter the same info 100+ times.
Keep track of applications manually.
So I am building Zapply (https://zapply.dev):
✅ Upload your CV & set job preferences.
✅ Zapply applies to remote jobs for you.
✅ You get a report on applications.
📈 My goal?
I’m just testing demand. No product yet—just a simple landing page.

I’m mid-career so have a lot of experiences I can slice and dice for different roles. I’ve always wanted a DB of tagged accomplishments that I can just select from, depending on the role, and have it export.
For example, if I’m going for a transformation role, I might omit my risk management wins. If a digital role, I’ll add in dev projects and remove cyber security, say.
Yup, Zapply Premium will enable users to provide multiple CVs and job preferences! Is there anything else you would like to see in future builds?
This may help many people who want to find a job and it also saves time when they are applying for a job. That is a great idea, first do some market research and then build that product it is beneficial.
Thanks, Gaurav! Yup, while I am working on MVP, I am also experimenting with market research, it's super interesting. Coming from engineering, now I am learning that tech is just one small part of the coin, market and execution is the thing! More updates coming soon!

Very cool idea, which technology are you using to build this?
cool product and definitely a market for something like this. Do you think product users may find that with the quantity of applications being sent out through zapply that it could impact quality of application? or does this tailor the resume or cover letter to match job description?
