I was tired of splitting my taste across MAL, Letterboxd, Steam and watchlists so I built Geekore

Hey Indie Hackers,

I’m building Geekore, an independent app for people who love anime, manga, videogames, movies, TV shows and board games.

I started it because my taste is scattered everywhere: anime on one platform, movies somewhere else, games in another library, board games almost completely separate, and recommendations fragmented across all of them.

So I wanted to build one personal “geek profile” where you can collect what you love, discover new things, and slowly build a taste profile across different media.

Right now Geekore includes:

- personal profile

- media libraries

- recommendations

- swipe-style discovery

- imports from different platforms

- anime, manga, videogames, movies, TV shows and board games

It’s still early, but usable.

I’d love feedback on three things:

1. Is the positioning clear from the landing page?

2. Would you use a cross-media profile like this?

3. What would make you come back after the first session?
