I went from 0 to 20+ organic signups per day

Here's what worked for GPTMyDay (shoutout to @NicolasTr for the inspiration).

I find the concept of "AI Travel Agents" very interesting and since I travel a lot now, I really want an AI automated service that can handle all of the complex stuff regarding organizing trips to do that for me

Starting from 0, I grew it to ~5 organic sign-ups per day, then ~10, and now ~20+.

So here's what I tried:

  • Indie Hackers
  • Reddit
  • Web directories
  • TikTok
  • Facebook Groups
  • Friends and Family
  • Instagram (Direct Messages)
  • Google Search Console
  • Twitter

Product improvements: Checkout out my twitter here where I lay it out (I follow back): https://twitter.com/philosofteng

What else should I try?

Good stuff! I'm following a similar path to you with who to reach out to.

I've also found if you use SaaS tools or services to build your product, a simple tweet on how you used their service is usually due for a retweet and some engagement, driving more eyes to your project.

Well done, and thanks for the shoutout! Continue what you are doing, it's working!

Keep an eye on the Google Search Console. Even with low search volume, you will start seeing keywords users actually search for. This will help you create new content and drive more organic traffic. It's a long game, but it's worth it.

In terms of new channels, you could try LinkedIn and Quora.

You could also add a "Sign In with Google" button to your product. That will increase your conversion rate.
