    Hi, Myriem,

Many thanks for your generous offer!
We’ve just launched a landing page with early access request https://artdeal.io/

It’s a tool for digital artists that tracks the amount of their items in stock, sales and client list.

Please let me know what you think and maybe I could help you somehow in return (I’m an illustrator)?

    Thanks,
    Dina

Hi Dina, here is my feedback:

      • I would suggest changing the logo. Although it looks nice, I don't think it will resonate with your target audience.
      • I like how you're displaying the dashboard in the hero section, so users can see what they will get once they subscribe.
      • Make sure your hero section includes the term FREE beta access so visitors know what to expect right away when they arrive on your site.
      • Add to the features section what makes your software stand out from the competition.
      • Even if the steps are very basic, it's always helpful to include a how-to section to show potential customers just how easy your software is to use.
      • Include an about us section with a story on how you came up with the idea, especially since you are an artist yourself.
      • A FAQ section is always a good addition to the landing page.

Otherwise, I believe your product solves a real problem, and you just need to highlight it with appropriate copy and design tweaks.

      Wishing you a successful launch.

I just launched a landing page with early access request. https://www.bucketscout.io. It will be a online tool to help DevOps and Sysadmins to track their cloud storage usage using visual tools and compare how usage changes over time.

    Do you have any ideas?

    1. 1

You should definitely create a proper landing page explaining what this tool is about and why your target audience needs it by listing their current problems and the solutions your tool will provide.

      • Make sure to add a logo to your landing page.
      • Use visuals to show your visitors what your tool is about, especially since your solution says it helps users manage their cloud storage with visuals.
      • Add a how it works/features sections.
      • At the bottom of the page, request their email address so you can include a message explaining what they get when they subscribe, such as product updates or discounts or an early adopter's offer.

As promised, you can find the hero section redesign I made through this link https://ibb.co/Qc20gRH. Let me know what you think.

    Hi Myriem,

I'd be glad to get your feedback on my homepage https://www.passion-climb.com/ or App Store Listing https://apps.apple.com/app/passion-bouldering-climbing/id1585396530.

Let me know if I should share more details and if I can do something to help you in return :)

    Thanks,
    Thomas

      Hi Thomas,

Your landing page is very straightforward and concise. Btw, I loved the logo and the color scheme.

However, I have a few remarks regarding the structure and the branding:

      • The above the fold section does not include any visuals of the app, always include a visual such as a video/image/gif to let visitors know what they are getting.
      • The call to action "Get the app" should have an accent color to grab attention.
      • Remove home link from the menu (logo will act as home button)
      • You don't have a "How it Works" section; be sure to list the steps a user should follow to use your product.
      • A FAQ section is always a good addition to the landing page.
      • Add testimonials for social proof. (You can add these before the FAQs and in the hero section)

The app itself is great and with a few tweaks on your landing page, it can be made to convert better.

I hope your project goes well and thanks for offering to help.

Thanks for the great analysis, Myriem! It's immensely valuable to have an outside perspective on this. I agree with all your points and will change the page accordingly.

The logo is actually from https://www.logology.co/ / @dagorenouf.

I am breaking nearly every rule for a hero section by having it text heavy and too long. This is on purpose as viewing it on mobile fits every piece of important info into one screen worth of space. If they read that then scroll down then that's good and might be more invested in my offering than a straight bounce.

I have also started with the worst part at the top to make it clear from the start, but then move on to better areas to make it look more positive with the other benefits on offer.

I would be interested on your view of these ideas as a neutral party. Apart from a final proof read it is all ready at https://ourwebhosting.co.uk

    Thanks,
    Dave

As you mentioned, you're condensing a lot of information in the hero section.

Always make sure to make it short and clear by answering these 3 questions:

      1. What do you do?
      2. How your product will help them?
      3. What do they need to do to get your product?

I recommend following this structure for "below the fold":
1- Talk about the pain points and problems your audience is facing
2- Show them how your product can resolve these problems
      3- Explain how it works
      4- Show the pricing
5- Add an about section or a founder's note

Otherwise, here are a few remarks to help you make a more appealing homepage:

      • Your logo looks more like a headline
      • Remove home link from the menu (logo will act as home button)
      • Use no more than 2 colors for your buttons (consistency is key)
      • Change your favicon

As promised, I made a quick redesign for the hero section (I tried to include all the info that already exists on the current website). I designed a new logo as well. You can check the new hero section through this link https://ibb.co/47h8b9g.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks for your feed back. I think I'll shift the current home page to a product page and re-make a new cleaner home page that can help with including our additional services in the future. Like the mock up as well.

        1. 1

Yes, that would be much better! I'd suggest following the story brand format for your page copy.
