I will design free custom icons for your brand/website/app
I am toying with the idea of a productized service that designs custom icons for clients. I plan to charge $250+ / pack of 9 icons once I launch but for 1 or 2 indie hackers this will be 100% free.
Have a need for custom icons / small illustrations? Please comment on the post with your need and in particular why off the shelf icons aren't really cutting it for you.
One 'feature' I'd like from this kind of service is to add extra icons afterwards in smaller batches, currently using slightly mismatched free icons while fleshing out product feature set.

yeah, this is a god idea, a least to my eyes.
Personally I search under the stones.... because one collection misses one icon that the other one has, but look different....

Yeah that's been my challenge in the past, I can usually find some icon that gets close enough to the idea I'm trying to convey but to get a whole array of icons that convey what I want AND match each other AND match the overall aesthetic of the site/app is challenging.
Currently, I do not need any icons myself, but I'm always going to support you, @nomdeplume! It's been a great few months talking to you and I've learned a lot. Keep it up, man!

A personal pain point for me has been finding a proper logo. There are loads of logo generators but a lot of them are quite meh. And I couldn't design a logo to save my life. So if there would be a service that could create a custom logo for me for a small price (~50$ ) I would be happy to pay for that.
As for Icons and illustrations personally, I can just find a free icon pack and be perfectly satisfied with that.
