Hello IH!
I will review your website from a performance (and UX) point of view, including load speeds and page transitions. If I find anything to improve, I will provide practical tips for you.
Let me know in the comments below if you want me to take a look at your site. You can also PM me if you want. :)
👉In the meantime, I invite you to take a look at Spindel (https://www.spindel.io). We help our users to deliver lightning fast user experiences to drive conversions. Our solution uses ML to intelligently prefetch or prerender content, reducing page load speeds by up to 95%. We will be launching beta during November and we welcome all Indie Hackers to join us.
I would like to take you up on your offer. Just like you, we are doing a soft launch in about a week. I might be a customer of yours. Please take a whack at this https://wizwonk.com your feedback is greatly appreciated

Hi Damien! Your site is quite simple at this stage, but I guess you will add more content after your launch. From a performance point of view, I have following observations:
You have a lot JavaScript for such a simple site. Currently your landing page loads almost a megabyte (compressed size) of JS files, of which a lot does not seem to serve a purpose, at least for now. My browser takes 1.6 seconds to execute all of the loaded JS. Try to remove as much as possible of the unused JS, and load the needed scripts with async or defer keywords, depending on their purpose.
You also have a lot of stylesheets (CSS) for such a simple site. Remove the unused CSS files
Your single largest resource is the background image. If you intend to keep it, you could convert it to WebP format, which will reduce its size without affecting quality.
Good luck on the launch! Let me know if you add more content and want me to take a new look then.
Hi Oskarif
Thanks for your valuable feedback. I will definitely take it into account.
Just want to mention that the site is anything but simple. It is a HUGE site. We are actually building a marketplace and have spent the last 11 months doing so. It is probably the biggest site in its weight class.
It's just that you did not get a chance to see the other parts which we are keeping under wrap for now. In fact we have more than 5000 pre-registered users helping test it in private beta..
Thanks
Damien
