So I have an idea for a startup - it's a skincare therapy startup that uses AI chat like chatgpt. Users login, discuss with the chatbot about their skin problems and get recommendations on products and routines.
Do you think it's worth exploring?
You can already ask ChatGPT for a skincare routine, it can even tell you what ingredients to look for.
Users want to feel like they're being treated uniquely, not as one in a million same cases, which is why they go to experts. Can you simulate that in your chatbot?
There will be specialist AI chatbots dedicated for each skin conditions. For example, a chatbot called Olivia will only respond to acne treatments, ask questions based on what they used and suggest products, ingredients and routines to carry out and things to avoid
You need to research your users. How are they already solving the problem? Have they considered using AI? Maybe they feel more comfortable talking to a human?
If you want check out this, you get daily advice taken from the world's most successful founders at Y Combinator.
How will the users know you're not just pushing them products with a high affiliate reward?
The app will not provide product links. It'll only tell users what kind of products and ingredients to look out for and ones to avoid
