I wrote 170 long-form articles in 5 months to build a "Garden" before launching my SaaS.

Hi everyone, I’m Debansh. 👋

I have a slightly unusual background for an indie hacker:

11 Years in Corporate Leadership (Tata AIA).

11 Years as a bootstrapped founder (Classystreet).

I'm currently building a new platform called WebVerbal (a digital publication) and a SaaS tool called MyBrandPitch (launching soon).

Instead of starting with paid ads or cold outreach, I decided to do something that doesn't scale: I personally wrote 170+ deep-dive strategy articles in the last 5 months.

The Strategy: I didn't want to just "get traffic." I wanted to build a "Garden"—a place where authority grows organically. I focused on decoding business models for the Indian startup ecosystem (specifically Tier 2/3 cities).

The Insight: After analyzing hundreds of businesses, I realized a painful truth: Most founders in "Real India" build incredible products but fail because they cannot explain their value clearly to investors or customers.

That validation led me to build MyBrandPitch—a tool to help founders structure their chaotic thoughts into clear narratives.

Question for the community: For those of you building content-first: At what point did you switch from "giving free value" to "asking for the sale"? I’m preparing to launch the SaaS side of things and would love to hear your transition stories.
