Idea: A platform to launch communities,marketing experiments, projects etc.

Hi all,

I've been thinking about building a platform to help launch community driven projects.

• Most of the time "build it and they will come" ends up with a lot of development and a lot of heart ache.

• Also finding co founders that are accountable becomes difficult.

• Most traditional financing isn't available to the 99%. Especially if you haven't met the next Steve Jobs yet.

What if you could create projects that have different things that people can pledge like: being a customer, being a beta tester, XYZ skill(React, outbound emailer,) resources(hosting, domains, email template) etc in exchange for rewards(% of sales, Commission, discounts), referring customers etc. Not just cash.

It's neat because over time you could track who follows though on pledges and who doesn't.

Would you use something like this? Would you collaborate/contribute to something like this? What do you like about the idea? what do you not like? what problems do you for see?

Obviously, its got some chicken and egg problems. So, I bought the domain KickTheChicken.com for marketing purposes.
