Idea: "Airbnb" for cloud hosting

I have been thinking about something since few days and would like to know what you guys think about it.

There are people mining bitcoin, ethereum, and cryptocurrencies all over the world because they want to make some money with some of their computing power they got at their home. That's great but perhaps they could make more money by creating their own tiny "data center" and making money by providing their computing resources.

Probably some people though about it but I am not aware of such solution. Basically the service would allow any person with static IP(s), one or few computers to make money with it. Our system would require some access to control the computers and, for instance, deploy containers (for example HTTP-based), and depending on each resource used the "seller" would be paid. Our system would also monitor the computers and measure it's stability in terms of connection speed, uptime, and location, and the price would vary based on that. Of course there are many challenges to accomplish this, but it's possible. Who would have thought that it could make sense to rent your house as an "hotel". Why not rent your computers as a shared data center?
