Here are some ideas, feel free to give feedback or work on any of them.

1. Smart clothes that you can wear in cold weather. Think "star trek" costume, they wear it everywhere.

I recently visited Canada, was very cold there and had to put lots of clothes on top of each other to stay warm and took some of them off each time I entered a heated place. It was uncomfortable. Design a thin, flexible suit that you can wear in cold weather and hot places alike. Use nanotech so water and dirt will not stick to it.

2. Smart sunglasses.

The sun and reading glasses industry is controlled by one big group: EssilorLuxottica. Their sunglasses are dumb but expensive. Build a pair of smart sunglasses that you could use to take pictures and videos. Sync them with your phone or smartwatch. Distribute the sunglasses through optician shops. Vuzix and Snap Spectacles are in this market but you could do much better.

3. Babysitting AI

Prevent accidents for your kids.

A camera installed on the ceiling, at school or at home. The video feed is analyzed by an AI that detects if a child is in danger. It notifies a parent or tutor that is located in a nearby room.

4. Teacher bot

Captivating children's attention is sometimes complicated, but they are easily captivated by videos on my iPad. Build a smart projector that you can use at home or in the classroom to teach children different things. It could come packed with lessons adapted for each age. A teacher could use a web interface to create lessons. Use speech to text and NLP to understand a child's questions and answer them.

4. A better ICO platform

The process of raising funds is complicated.

One of the advantages of the Ethereum blockchain is that you can do an ICO on it. An ICO (initial coin offering) is similar to an IPO (initial public offering), except it's not very well regulated. A company raises funds from the public in exchange for tokens (think shares) in the company. The tokens can appreciate or depreciate in value. The advantage is that it allows people from all over the world that don't have access to trading NASDAQ or NYSE to transact with your tokens. One disadvantage is that due to lack of regulations the ICO system has been abused by scammers that took the funds and left. Build a better ICO platform, that complies with regulations.

5. A vertical in RPA (Robotic process automation)

If you're a developer and the demo looks like when you used Selenium to test your website, you're right. It's a bot that clicks on buttons to go from one page (or app) to another, read the info it finds on pages and fill forms.

Do an RPA bot that works for products offered by startups: Slack, Notion, Gmail, Dropbox etc. Example: when I receive an email at sales@startup.com check it the client is already in my salesforce account, otherwise add it, tag it and reply with the following message: "....".
