I would appreciate any feedback or criticism on this shower idea of mine.
Sometimes I receive offers/promotions from B2C companies e.g. Evernote: 30% off Premium. I don't need Evernote premium, I don't use it enough. However, if the offer was 70% off, then there's a chance I might be think to myself ah screw it, let's see what Premium is like.
I think there are situations where a company sales team would be happy to negotiate with a customer. However, there is no easy way for me to reach out to a sales team for a product I'm on the fence about. i.e. I'm never going to spend time writing and email or making a phone call.
I recently visited the Middle East and had the classic experience of haggling. I'm currently a Software Engineer with a background in Sales. I feel like B2C transactions are one way. I think a way to bring haggling online (without the BS) would be good for both customers and businesses.
This type of platform would make sense to take a small commission on a sale. I thought about if the customer accepts the first offer then no commission. If the customer makes a counter offer that is accepted then take a commission.
