Idea Feedback Needed!
Hello! It's been a while that I wanted to build a tool / service for my own. Everything I read said to start from solving your own problems first, as it probably means other people have the same problem. So here it goes :).
I am often "bombarded", for the lack of a better word, with information that is sort of thrown at me, or I actively seek.
Bits and pieces of information and ideas that could be beneficial to use in my professional and personal life. Sometimes I am reading an article on the web and I add that page to my favorite lists in chrome.
Sometimes I am listening to a podcast and theres this 2 minute snippet that really strikes a chord. Other times I am having a conversation with a person and something interesting comes out of the conversation.
The sources of this information are sporadic and distributed, and I always wanted to have like a central place to easily and intuitively store, correlate, and categorize these tiny pieces of information.
I have tried checklists, task lists and all that, but I found them to be sporadic and most of the times these ideas are not something I want to to do actions on. So what do you think of a tool, I don't know it's nature yet that would let you do just that? Something Fast, un-obstructive and intuitive.
I don't understand the exact problem you are solving.

Is it organizing info you need?
What about Notion? Evernote? Apple Note? OneNote? How are you different? Better?
Hi Josh! Thank you for your feedback. See, the problem I have is that i read a lot of articles and books, listen to podcasts, have conversations with people.
A lot of interesting things stick in my head after reading, listening, having a conversation..like bits and pieces of information and ideas that would really be nice to store for later use and review maybe.
Sometimes i have thoughts and ideas impromptu, and need to store them somewhere (maybe through a voice note, backed by a speech to text service).
I need all of this in one place. Categorized and connected somehow. The tool, app or whatever I end up building will then build a portfolio of interests about you depending what you store in it, and maybe starts suggesting related information from different sources.
I find note taking apps are good at taking static notes, it does not link bits and pieces of related information to form a consistent train of thought. Task Lists are for tasks, things you have to do, not really what I want.
I hope I clarified it a bit, forgive me if I didn't, this is still a very immature idea I had, and thought to throw it out here to get some feedback
Sounds kind of like Highly https://www.producthunt.com/posts/highly or Instapaper, but I guess you want to go one step further and categorize it. I would suggest imagining a way to implement this and then ask a bunch of people if they would use it - right now it's pretty vague what you intend to build

I think the way you solve the problem will determine you success. Here's another tip: think about how you will earn revenue?

create a static site! Share your idea and have an email address people can reach out at. This way you'll see if there is user excitement and people want your product. In this way, you save yourself the time of building something no one wants or you might find out there is a market for your idea!
Thats a great idea! I may go down this route. Have you tried this approach before or know anyone who has and the results from it? Thanks for the feedback!
