Idea Feedback: Tracking Job Applications

Hello Indie Hackers,

Thanks for putting out such a great content. This is my first post here. I am looking for feedback on an idea/problem.

Recently I was looking for a new job. I applied at various companies. That involved many to & fro emails with recruiters and other stakeholders. It was difficult to keep track of all the applications. I searched for tools to help me organize my job search but couldn't find anything promising.

I thought I would build a productivity tool that:

Keeps track of all the current, future and past opportunities that interests you.
Keeps your documents (various versions of your CVs and Cover letters) organized at one place.

This can be useful to students. May be professionals who are available in the job market and freelancers.

I am looking for answers to some of these questions:

Do you think it's a problem that others face too? Do you have a similar workflow for job hunting? If so how do you organize yourself?
Do you know any other tools that tackle this problem?
Do you think an app like this can help you save some time and make your search more efficient?
Do you have any ideas or thoughts about features that you would like to see in such a tool?
Any other comments that you have.

  Thats fair. Perhaps I need to think more about the problem. Are there any flaws that you see here? or a critique that you have? Or is it just totally not related to you?

    i think this problems not related about me because i have 2-3 job applications when i need. so, i don't have any problem about keeping track of applications.
    
    but, from marketing perspective, there is a problem about keeping track of cold mail replies. because, lets say, you are sending 100 mail one by one and you should keep track of replies and not replies in order to touch again or not. i came across replies.cc a couple day ago and i like that simple idea. may be this helps you to simplify your product.
