Idea for remote: Voice chat like TeamSpeak or Discord
Here is my idea if somebody would be looking for one.
Voice chat like TeamSpeak or Discord, but as a MacBook app which is visible in the top bar. Where user can quickly join the discussion, mute if necessary.
I'd love to use it. My team probably would like it too. We used Discord voice chat so far for just talking during work.
We use Discord, too. I'm not sure if the market really needs a new tool in that area, but Zoom also entered the market when Skype and Google Hangouts were already huge. So, it is always possible to build a great tool.
I saw a start-up that is building something like that, but for asynchronous communication. They are called Yac. https://www.yac.com/
It's just needs to be more handy. The app should start at laptop boot and user should join with one click. Right now opening a website, joining the channel, having browser is enough friction for people to move to something simpler.
