[Idea] Language learning Chrome extension

I am thinking about starting a new side project. To give a background I would like to mention the project I worked on last year,
It is a tool targeting the Brazilian market, specifically those people who are looking for learning English.
The mvp is a news website, with articles containing the important topics of the week, with guided audio, automatic translation, sentence example when clicking on a word and speech speed control.
The main idea is to learn both vocabulary and pronunciation at the same time one updates oneself about the world and Brazil. Even though I had very good feedback, I faced a few problems:

My idea was to have a B2B approach due to not having an audience. I reached out to several English schools in Brazil for a partnership but had no response.

Another issue is that newslang requires me to religiously write articles, when ones has no traffic this is very frustrating.
With that in mind, I am flirting with the idea of making newslang a chrome extension.
Such would have the same features as newslang but work on any webpage. Users select a text, choose the target language and trigger newslang, at the point the text would be read, each work translation would be available, alongside sentence examples, etc. There are text to speech extensions out there but none does what I am proposing.
The main benefit I see is that to a certain extent it is a "fire and forget" app which will not require constant article writing. Also it does not need to be niched to news websites nor brazilians, anyone could select any text and have any target/source language setup.
Any kind of feedback is welcome. I have not started yet so I want to know other's opinions before investing time in it.
