Idea: User-test swapping, are you in?

I'll test yours if you test mine. Here's how it works: You download my app, give it a spin, and write your thoughts in a google doc that we share. I'll do the exact same for your product. This works super good, I've done it a few times already 🙌

You have to be interested in podcasts, music, and fitness for my case. Comment on this post to join the fun!

Update: Here's the google doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c57hzjJMp3v4KpbhEoU0BVcr-5eLzmCr5rFSGB4QKiI/edit#

Hello IH - Here's the test doc for Monadd. If you're moving or recently moved use the regular version. If you just want to test without actually triggering actions then staging is for you. Instructions are here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MG3jwCH4GAFf2l83n7Z8LXedGcEoNFq7FZE8lb-ZoJg/edit?usp=sharing

Hi Michael! I am new to IH, working in a fintech startup and I love this idea. I would love to try yours and here's a link to ours: https://bit.ly/2DibcCh
I will try to give my feedback this coming weekend.

Awesome! Thanks @Anj_cc. I'll give it a try, and fill out your doc :)

Is this part of your product or are you validating an idea with this question?

    1. 1

Testing an app I'm building :)

Love the idea, @sslash, and I think it could be better if you share a public link and let everyone join and share their feedback. This will help you scale.

Great suggestion! I've updated the post

I'm a bit hesitant to download this. Constantly switching back and forth between a podcast and music will certainly be distracting for me. My current guess is that it will leave me nothing but... confusion at the end of the workout session. Do you have any reason/scientific backup for this way of doing?

        1. 1

I understand your concern, but it actually works very seamlessly. It's more like a workout timer, so it shifts automatically when the rest-time is up, and you tap your headphones to shift back when you're done lifting. Feedback so far is that most people realize it's actually a quite neat workout experience bc you focus even more on relaxing when it turns off your workout music and starts podcasting.

          1. 1

So when the app resumes the podcast, will it be fresh, new content or just a continuity of what I had previously listened?

            1. 1

It will just continue where you were before it shifted to music (actually we skip 3 seconds back because you tend to lose focus right before you start lifting/working)

Dude just share a direct link for your project and the google doc and that way people can just click on it and take a look to give you some quick feedback.

Great idea! I updated the post.

I've also done this where we set up a 30-minute talk on google hangouts to share our thoughts. This is also super nice 😸
