Idea Validation
I'm evaluating an idea in which people are willing to join a community and help one another based on their unique experiences. i believe that the data is now distributed across multiple platforms and it would be better if the data was aggregated. We intend to create a search engine that will assist you in connecting with similar stories and locating an exact person who has faced a similar situation.
- I purchased a flat for Rs 85 lakh. These are the challenges I faced and overcame in this way.
- My dog hadn't eaten anything in two days.
Here's how I got him to eat. - I traveled to Europe on a $100 budget using this itinerary. Allow me to assist you in making better plans.

I feel you'd be wasting your time on this idea. I'd argue that this is basically what google is (a great idea but you're just far to late!). Any problem i have i turn to the first page of google.
this turns up blogs, communities, new articles ETC. We're in the infomation era!

This sounds like something if it works well would be immensely helpful! I know from personal experience that I have wished for something similar to solve a very localized and niche problem about local tax laws.
Having said that, I feel the scope of an "everything search engine" might be too big to tackle initially and would fragment the knowledge by the community. You are probably already considering this, but perhaps it'll be beneficial to focus on a specific area of knowledge (e.g. real estate, personal finance, career-hunting, etc.) in a specific location (e.g. India) first as that could resonate very well with a niche market versus an unfocused product that might resonate with nobody.
