Idea validation: A Review Exchange Platform
I'm thinking of building a review exchange platform where people starting a product or testing an MVP can share their ideas/reviews on new products and get ideas in exchange.
It will work like this- at the time of sign-up you'll review 5 products from a list of products/MVPs. Once you do that the reviews will go to the respective product owners.
After signing up, you get to submit your own product which will then be sent to other builders for their review. For submitting each new product for reviews, you have to review 5 products yourself.
This will serve as an instant source of validation specific to the product you are building from a very diverse group. Once the user base grows the products will be matched to the reviewers based on their interest/expertise.
Can you share your thoughts with me about this idea?
Sounds like a cool idea. But how would you ensure quality of those reviews?
To be honest, the only way to validate an idea is by making at least 5 sales.
And I'm not sure how you are going to monetize this idea?
Do you mean making 5 sales before building anything?
