Idea Validation From Reddit Users
Yesterday I posted in some Reddit forms in my products niche and got a handful of people who replied saying they would love/use a service like what I am making. People seemed to be generally excited about it as a service and even offered some suggestions.
I am working though, would this count as idea validation?
It's a first step of the validation. A next step could be to build a mock up landing page where you can assign the service a price and count how many actually want to purchase it by clicking a mock checkout button. 👍
This let's you figure out if people are actually willing to pay for it. And additionally you could figure out a valid price and pricing with this landing page.

No. Anyone can just say they would pay for it, but until they do, I wouldn't count on it.
