Idea validation: invoice generator
Hi all,
I would love to know what do you think about this idea.
I'm thinking about building a SaaS that will help you to create your own invoice template and generate the invoices either by uploading an excel file to put the data and the template will do the total, VAT... calculations automatically.
Or by providing an API to integrate it to your website so you can send the data and it will return the download link of the invoice.
And also thinking about adding the possibility to give the option to send directly the invoice to the client.
What do you think? Would it be worth my time to build it?
The idea isn't new, so that's good news because that means business out there are selling this exact product.
If you have skills to build it and you know how to sell it - why not!
Everyone's gotta start somewhere: think of what your unique superpower could be...maybe you know a language (i.e. non native english speakers from XYZ that want invoices in their own language) or a niche of customers that no one else knows
Yes, it will be great if it's multi-language, I know Arabic and I think the existing ones do not support it. Maybe I will add later other languages so in that way I can reach more customers
Finding an existing product like this and then supporting a specific language that is currently not well-supported (especially a widely spoken language like Arabic!), is a great way to go.
This seems like it would be a good, specific market to validate. Can you reach out to any business owners you know (or can find) who speak Arabic and learn more about their pain points here and their current work arounds?
