Idea validation - Local News/Events Delivered via SMS

The idea is pretty simple.. a onxe a week SMS message with 5-7 bullet points outlining the latest news/events/things to do in your city. I subscribe to The New Paper (https://thenewpaper.co/) which is where I got the idea. Obviously this would be oriented to a specific city instead of just global news and it would also include events happening/things to do.

My thoughts are there may be a group of people (probably younger people) who don't get the newspaper and don't want to opt-in to the 24/7 news cycle on twitter but still want to remain somewhat informed on what's happening in their city. It would be $3-4 to subscribe. Is this something you would be interested in if it was available in your city? Thanks!
