Idea validation. Looking for a feeback.

I’m currently working on an application for Shopify and would like to ask what do you guys think about it.

The main idea is to let your customers call your personal phone number directly from the website from the browser.

So basically you can install the widget on your shop and then anybody from any country in the world will be able to click a button and phone call will be started.

Your customers will pay nothing. You’ll pay per minute by your local tariffs. This means that if your visitor initiates the call from Thailand and you are in the US - you’ll receive the call from the US-based phone number and you’ll pay a very low fee.

Some of the key points:

• You’ll be able to add your personal mobile number
• This mobile number will be hidden behind the widget (but it’s possible to show it to your clients if you want to)
• Schedule, I don’t want you to receive the phone calls during the night, but it will be possible to record the attempts
• CRM integration probably in the nearest future

The main question, of course, is do you see any future for such an idea? Do you have something to add? Do you want to participate in the creation of an application or maybe in a referral program?
