Idea validation - Quick note app
Hi All,
I need your thoughts on an app idea I have for a quick note app. The basic goal for this is to make noting down and revising the notes as quickly as possible without being overwhelmed by complexities. Ideally I am looking at:
- Quick launch to a note type (idea, fact, add to checklist etc.,)
- Type or audio notes
- Reminders
- Quick recall of notes (probably study notes just before an exam?)
- Possible a speech to text feature
Do you guys think:
- There is a demand for this idea?
- What scenarios could people think to use it for?
- Would it compete with 1000s of note taking apps out there?
I use simplenote on phones and ResophNotes Windows client. It is easy, free, fast and cross-platform!
I'm struggling to see a differentiator in your list. I can do everything in your list with multiple free options, and apps like Evernote and Notion tackle more advanced problems even with their free versions. My advice for this area is to focus on one or two problems that the other apps are definitely not solving. Try roaming thru the support forums to see what people are asking for and then research to see if other apps have it.
