[Idea Validation] Unsure what career path to pursue?

Hey IndieHackers! A product and tech guy here.

I have been lurking the site for a period of time and just seeing the community activity on IH is wonderful! I have an idea that was birthed from mine and many of my millennial friends search for career happiness and/or fulfillment. I want to get your brutally honest feedback, so please tear this apart or give me advice on how I can move forward.

PROBLEM:
Nowadays, many people (specifically millennials) think they know what they want out of their careers. They invest in a path, grind and get a job, work 2~ years then realize it makes them absolutely miserable. They end up hitting an all time low and depression sweeps over since they feel forced to aimlessly grind.

I realized that there is nothing really in the market that gives people the ability to “shop around" and learn the monotony of a career path before you invest in one. The most I can recall from my past regarding learning more is:

1. Networking / info interviews with professionals
2. Applying to internships / co-ops / volunteer programs
3. Learn off YouTube videos (IF you can find one good in your desired field)

These methods aren't always consistent and they do NOT leave you feeling like you know what to expect (highs and lows) from a career choice.

(A) SOLUTION:
A video and experience platform that sources disciplines across companies, institutions and industries to allow users to watch in-depth journeys of what (example) a Product Manager or an Animator does on a day to day basis. You could go one step further and offer "job shadowing" from local companies in a user's area.

The business model for the video portion could be a-la-carte purchases for specific disciplines or a subscription to the service, with revenue share for companies getting onto the platform.

A couple benefits I see:

1. Companies can get more interested candidates and widen their search funnel
2. Career seekers will be more confident in a discipline that makes them fulfilled
3. Career seekers will have more knowledge to make costly (money and time) decisions
