Idea Validation - Upcoming Startups & Online Business
Hey folks!
Just wondering what you guys thought of an idea I've been churning around. I have a couple of projects in the pipeline, so I wanted to gauge how useful / promising this idea would be.
It's essentially like producthunt, but for upcoming products / startups / online businesses that are still in development, that are open to having customers sign up to their email to use the product / tool when it launches.
This would help the producer by gaining more visibility to their product & having more potential customers know about the product prior to launch.
This would help the consumer by giving them a unique opportunity to try a new product for free (hopefully for free, depends on the producer) before it launches, in a hassle free way.
Not too concerned about how this would be monetized. The goal is to connect consumers with exciting, upcoming products, and to try them out at a very special price (IE. free trail for a year, free lifetime account, etc.)
What do you guys think? is this just way too vague?
Neat idea.
1.Sites like PH ans Betalist already take up a considerate amount of people's time in a day checking out new products.
2.I think PH already has a feature like the idea you be mentioned.

Hm, I can't find anything on PH that shows like, up coming projects or services that allow the customer to sign up!

PH have started this https://www.producthunt.com/ship . I've seen a products on PH with just a landing page to collect emails from interested potential users.
