Ideas for a business with traction | πŸ“ˆ Trends Watching

I think one of the best ways to start a side hustle / startup / business and get traction while reducing uncertainty is keeping an eye on what's trending, so you invest your time on the blue ocean.

TRENDS TRACKING WEBSITES

I personally love Glimpse since it shows you trends that are getting hot before anyone else notice them so you can work ideas and business towards that. All divided into categories such as Products, Industries and even other Companies.

I tended to use Google Trends for this, but even on this, the guys of Glimpse exceed. They have this Chrome plugin that basically supercharge your Google Trends experience.

Another site that have helped me keep on track of what people are doing is Exploding Topics . It's a must to suscribe to all this newsletters if you want to get ahead the curve.

There's also a bunch of other Trend Following websites out there, but I personally like the way DHL has gathered trends on logistics here. Really useful if you are planning business related with e-commerce or logistics.

MICRO, SMALL, MID OR BIG BIZ IDEAS

What I love about this strategy is that your idea/business doesnt have to be a big new innovative Saas either. It can be just a new product you discovered people are using and start a dropshipping store, starting a blog about a new trendy service for affilliate marketing or just investing some stocks on the new hot startup on the block.

What you think? Which other ways are good ones to brainstorm or getting inspiration for new biz ideas?

I'm interested in the Healthcare, Marketing and Advertising trends right now. But nothing in particular.
