Hey all - I'm wondering if you could help me brainstorm a bit.
My app: a video sharing app with a focus on user-driven content delivery/discovery
Landing page: https://passthemustard.app/
Next steps: niche down into a smaller target audience (currently targeting all of Gen-Z)
Brainstorming talking point: Do you have any advice on possible niches for my app?
Thanks a ton!

Maybe offer a way for other communities to create their own branded version of pass the mustard. I was thinking in the fitness world that everyone shows off their skills and workouts, so for example, a community of crossfit will pass to each other videos of doing "X pushups in Y minutes" challenges..
Great idea! Do you think it would be necessary to do full-on 'branded' versions for these communities, or should I just target them with use-case-centric product messaging?
starting to target them with a use-centric product messaging sounds actually like a good way to test if these communities enjoy using the app
then maybe see if providing them a way for them to host or create "challenges" or little "achievements" to check-off is something these users will enjoy doing
And finally if this is really working, maybe you can think of different branded versions that use the same pass the mustard technology.. just going a bit on a rabbit hole :D
I love it. Sounds like a great strategy. I have been thinking gamers is a good niche to look in to. I think fitness is a great niche as well. Are there any others you can think of?
oh gamers!! that makes perfect sense!
