if musk ran indie hackers he'd try to buy it back from stripe and start charging you and the other members a small monthly subscription for membership ;)

Hilarious. I think if Elon Musk bought indiehackers he'd probably go ahead and troll the forums pretty consistently, perhaps angling IH as an a complementary, niched-version of Twitter. I bet if people saw Musk in a new forum they'd immediately gravitate over to it at-least initially, and the entrepreneurs in his audience would probably stay.
Oh...I wonder what the true "Musk" impact would be if he'd pop on here. It's definitely a good thought experiment.
Glad you like the thought experiment! I started asking myself it after watching Musk's recent TED interview (the live one, not the one recorded at the gigafactory), of which the first few minutes were dedicated to the Twitter situation.
He would definitly works on it until it succeeds.
