If you are using Azure, can we talk?

Hey fellow indie hackers.... if you are using Azure, I could really use your help.

We've developed a Cloud Management Platform for Azure that helps you find and fix your cloud issues fast. One challenge we are having is in the onboarding of the initial account when linking it to your Microsoft account for login. We have tried to automate that now, and we would love to get a bunch of people to try it.

    The process seemed to be fairly straight forward to use (though a little scary giving someone read access to such a critical service), the funky part was finding the "Management Domain", by default I don't have "Azure Active Directory" as a quick link so took me a while to find it.

    Azure can be a beast to configure, curious to see what your scan returns when it's finished running...

      Thanks for taking the time to run through the first time experience.

      I fully understand your comment about the read access. I tried to 'prime' the user with information that the read access was required specifically to relieve that friction before Microsoft prompted them for consent.

      The "management domain" is also interesting. As there is no way to get the proper one by your login info alone, we have to ask for it. Kinda sucks, but the alternative that our competitors use is pages and pages of documentation to get you to add a custom enterprise app manually in Azure AD and link it to your subscription(s). We felt it would be better to just do all that work for you.... but does require you to give us that info if you have a personal account. I did write a KB article and linked it on the screen (https://www.auditwolf.com/help/admin-domain) but some people don't click on it to get that info. Did you notice it?

      If you have a work account, that step is bypassed as we can look up the info from your token. Unfortunately Personal accounts using LiveID just don't have that available.

      I'm curious to know what you thought of the results too. I would expect this would not be the right forum for that though, as if it does find issues you probably won't want to share that here ;-)
