If you had $1000 to market and promote your side project. How would you do it?

Would love to know people's thoughts on how to spend a small marketing budget wisely. Specifically for an online course, but am interested to know the best use of this budget for general side projects.

I chose Other(comment below) because in your previous post you shared how you did well with partnerships marketing. You were able to build relationships and got a handful of people to promote your product.

That's amazing because you didn't have to spend a dime or post content all over the place.

Why I don't like option one is because you can easily lose $10,000+ with no results, you must be a great ad writer or hire an agency, it is purely cold traffic unlike your previous success, and you will be interrupting a lot of people on their timeline.

Since Social Media Ads has the highest votes, if you finally choose to go with that, be aware that it takes a high level of expertise to do well, it requires a lot of money, and you have a low chance of success as a result.

My advice would be that you should invest more in building relationships, get more affiliates, and try influencers.

You can teach how to build products to your friend's audience, appear in podcasts, recruit more people to promote your products, etc.

Partnerships marketing worked for you by accident. You should start doing it intentionally from today.

I'd invest in the long game and hire an SEO content writing agency.
