Welcome to my "looking for a co-founder"-post. I see my Eminem-title lured you in. This means you are willing to seize the opportunity! Now I have your interest, let me explain what I am looking for!

tl;dr;
I’m looking for a co-founder for the software I created (Let’s call it Y for now) that is 90% finished. Open for all arrangements. I don't have any requirements for you as a person :).

About the product

Elevator pitch:
Y is the number one document processor assistent for SMB’s. Like a real assistent, it collects and archives all your business documents for you. She categorises them and makes them searchable and sharable for you convenience. This gives you unique insights into your own business and saves you time daily searching and categorising all your documents yourself.

Why did I created this?
As being self-employed myself (and having helped to manage a company of 30+ people) it was something me and my partners discovered as really annoying. Having an internal accountant where 50% of his job is to just collect and archive all the incoming and outgoing documents isn’t very efficient.
Using existing tools as: Gdrive, Onedrive, Dropbox didn’t proved to be as successful because they are just document stores, not processors.

What’s different about this (USP's)?
The document processing is something not all our competitors have. I am also well aware there are tools that do this for the enterprise market, but I don’t want to go for those. I know the SMB world and want to create a tool that works: “magically”. So all the logic is shielded off for the customer without heave onboarding / retraining ML models, … (Read: The Apple approach).

Tech behind the project

• BE: A few API first microservices for general stuff (user management, tagging, …), … Serverless functions for document processing, storage, …
• FE: React application.

About me / you?

Who am I?
Male, 26, based in Belgium. Professional software engineer + history of being self-employed and owning a company (so I have experience doing sales, hiring people, paperwork behind owning / starting a business, …). Euhm, I am single as well, I don't know if that matters? Haha.

Who am I looking for and why?
The product is 90% finished, but I am looking for a co-founder to help me finish it, launch it, market it. It would also help me personally. Keeping myself motivated between working full time, doing client work and developing this is pretty hard, so I hope by having somebody to do this together will help me.

I don’t have any specific requirements for you as a person, just that you are willing to put in the time and effort, and are really eager to do this with me. The only differentiator to making it (IMO) is a good work-ethic and motivation. A good founder will have to put on several hats anyway. Just hit me up and we can see how we vibe :).

Arrangement
Open for all sorts of arrangements. 50/50 split, ...

Nice to know:

• I already have a first client that is waiting for this product (price not discussed yet).
• I also know there is competition, but to me, competition is good. It shows there is a viable market for it.
• Right now I am employed full time, but if the products has traction, I want to go all in for this.
