馃拰 If you think HTML emails sucks and you're building MVP, I made a thing exactly for you... (join private beta)

Hi! :) If you think HTML emails sucks, but you're working on a project that needs to send emails, I made a thing exactly for you. Creating good-looking HTML emails is hard. Managing your own mail server is even harder. I built Sidemail to solve those problems in one complete, simple-to-use service.

How does it work:

  1. Use no-code email builder to create email templates, eg: password reset
  2. Send the email template from your app with Sidemail API

I already pre-built 7 templates of common emails (like SSO, password reset, receipt...) that you can use straight away, so Sidemail is perfect if you're building MVP.

馃憠 There's a private BETA happening right now and if you'd like to join, you can either sign up here (it might take a while until I got you on the whitelist, it's not automated), DM me on Twitter or email me [email protected].

馃敎 There're handy features coming... Soon, you'll be able to store contacts (eg.: your project's users, early adopters, personal mailing list, etc.) right in Sidemail. Also, hosted sign up pages and sending directly from the UI.

What feature would you like to see? #product-feedback-request

      You're in!! :)

Don't have time to try this out right now, but just wanted to say this sounds and looks fantastic, best of luck with it!

Thank you! I figured that not everyone would have the time to play with the code. That's why I'm adding hosted sign up forms to help you collect email addresses and the option to send emails from the Sidemail UI without writing a script to do it by yourself. What do you think about this? Do you have personal maling list perhaps?

I'm still in the early stages of this, so you can really shape these features with your opinion. Thanks!

Great idea! I couldn't find a kind of tool like this. So last time I built by myself.

Thank you! That's what developers always do, don't we? :)

Looks nice! What service are you using for sending the emails?

I was looking for this for a really long time, I ended up using Sparkpost with MJML and some custom scripts to deploy my emails, it's kinda ok, I'd give it a C-.

Thanks for the info! Well, when you start a new project, give it a shot :)
