If your MVP has 15 “must-have” features…
It’s not an MVP.
It’s a slow death.
Cut to 3 core things. Ship.
Everything else is feedback-driven.

    Shipping is the most important.

This is spot on. I learned that the hard way, I thought my “MVP” needed to cover every scenario, and I ended up delaying the launch. Once I cut it back to just the 3 things that solved the core problem, it actually started moving.

Curious: when you trim down features, how do you decide what’s truly “core” versus what to push to feedback?

Focus on a minimal, shippable product to get to market quickly and validate the core concept. This is simply it.

I normally do a fixed MVP checklist for each product I develop.

This list ensures the "healthy" amount of features you want goes live, and more importantly, it stops that list from growing during development. That discipline is exactly what turns a good idea into a shippable product, not a "slow death."

    That's right!

Absolutely true ✅. As a developer, I’ve learned the hard way that trying to ship too many features upfront only delays progress. The 3 core features that solve the main problem are what define an MVP — the rest comes from real user feedback.
