If you're building a review website, then I'm assuming the most revenue (coming from the public anyway) is going to be through advertising?

If you're building a review website, then I'm assuming the most revenue (coming from the public anyway) is going to be through advertising? If this is true, then surely the only viable traction channel is SEO and maybe content marketing, because paid channels are just going to lose money.
