Hi indie-hackers community!
Are your struggling with your product design? Let us help you!
We're doing an experiment where we'll create 5 prototypes for FREE.
If you interested, reply with:
The end result will be a clickable Figma prototype with 5β10 screens. Example Mobile Prototype, Example Web Prototype
You can use your prototype to feature on your landing page, record video, pitch to your potential users, partners.. or just build it!
All we ask from you is to feature prototypes in our portfolio and social media as example of our work and process.
Here's the projects that we selected and designed!
IndieWorldwide β Loom Demo
Shelf QR β Twitter Demo
TechMate β Loom Demo
SoundStratify β Loom Demo
BroConnect β Loom Demo, Figma Prototype
Thank you everyone for participating!
We're launching a productised design agency Salt n Bold.
We love indie-hackers community! We've learned a lot here and want to give back. If this experiment goes well we'll likely do promos like this every few weeks.
We have strong team of designers who prototyped and built over 100 startups (no jokes!)

Let's go!
Reply with your product details and let's design it π
Product name and website (if any): Shelf.nu
Product idea: Empowering every company on earth to have an up to date equipment/asset register based on various code types (QR,Bar code, Data matrix, etc)
The 1 core workflow to design > Asset label designer (this could be a stand-alone product we integrate in our platform)
Ideally, we allow our user to create 1 asset label design template. The available fields that they can populate the label with are:
The user might want to print this on a thermal printer. So, he/she should be able to define a width/height of the label in which it will be printed.
Sick is a user can also change the orientation of the canvas.
Output would be a single PDF.
We will most likely build with Fabric.js
HOPEFULLY WE GET PICKED, HECK YEA!
Had some fun with a prototype in Twitter π
Yeeah, will be done, some details clarified via DMs!
you have a nice website :)
Thank you so much!
We're launching the service for "landing pages" soon, so stay tuned π
Nice :)
Thank you for your support, it really means a lot for us!
Indie Worldwide https://indieworldwide.com/
I want to build a daily habit tracker for members of my founder community.
Mockup: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jmSrozBs4xDwWEnMTya82FvMc3U-MNgd/view?usp=sharing
This is a hybrid dashboard & public profile page.
Anonymous state: Can see everything on the page up to the latest 5 updates, beyond that should be a login gate.
Logged in state: Can see everything.
Logged in AND on your own page state: Can see everything. Can edit user information. Can submit an update.
Logged in AND on your own page AND hasn't submitted recent update state: Take over the screen with a full-screen dismissable module focused on just the update form.
The achievements should have two states: locked & unlocked depending on if the user has met the criteria yet for that achievement.
I'd like to use colors and aesthetics similar to the existing indie worldwide landing page and am implementing using Tailwind, so if it's possible to stick to Tailwind defaults that will make implementation a lot easier.
Awesome! Excited to work on this project and help IndieWorldwide!
Few questions:
β’ Updates: are updates text-only (or can attach media)? Should we limit characters (like in tweet)? Any other constraints?
β’ For MRR chart: I guess we'll let user to link their Stripe/LemonSqueezy accounts for dynamic charts, is it correct?
Text-only updates. Let's set a limit at 1,000 characters. I'd also like to be able to support bold and italic.
The MRR chart I'd like to be a more generic goal-tracker. User can pick their metric and target. Updates can be submitted as part of the daily update, optional seperate field.
Has to be a numeric value so it can be graphed. e.g. YouTube Subscribers, number of customers, monthly revenue etc. I'd like to support integration with Stripe etc in the future, but for now manual entry only is OK.
Got it, makes total sense, expect it all done in ~ 24 hours! ;)
Excited to see what you guys come up with :)
Hey @AntCas, check out the demo and let us know if we got you right and what needs to be changed!
PS looking forward to use it some day myself π―

Ooo, looking really nice. Can't believe you guys turned this around in just 24 hours.
Nice!
Working on few more tweaks to make it shine! Expect some updates early next week ;)
Product name and website: The Camel CEO / https://www.thecamelceo.com/
Product idea:
Make your B2B company profitable with the only executive program that teaches leaders how to grow sustainably
The 1 core workflow to design: Landing page
Design and competitor references: Masterclass (reference) / BetterUp (competitor)
Web OR Mobile: Web
Hi! Can you please explain what exactly you would like to see in your designs?
See @AntCas description here as an example
Product Name: Type with Audio
Description: Help creators develop their ideas with least friction
Magnify the brainstorming process by integrating voice recognition technology with a virtual assistant. Entrepreneurs can speak their ideas, and the virtual assistant will generate text summaries and provide suggestions for further ideation. Collaboration features will be included to involve partners in the process.
Design references: Maybe something like copy.ai but with collaboration and iteration built in. Ideally, much simpler, easy and opinionated
Platform: Web but mobile friendly
Hey hey hey!

Product Name: TechMatch
Product Idea:
TechMatch is a web-based platform that aims to bridge the gap between startup founders and IT experts. It solves the problem of finding the right technical talent for startups, which is a common challenge in the early stages of a business. The platform caters to two primary user groups: startup founders looking for technical co-founders or IT experts to join their team, and IT professionals who are interested in joining early-stage startups as co-founders or team members.
Target Audience:
Startup Founders: Entrepreneurs and startup founders who have an innovative idea or project but lack technical expertise or are looking for a technical co-founder to help bring their idea to life.
IT Experts: Skilled developers, programmers, designers, and other IT professionals who are interested in joining startups at an early stage and share the entrepreneurial spirit.
Core Workflow:
The core workflow of TechMatch can be divided into several steps:
User Registration:
Users, both startup founders and IT experts, sign up on the TechMatch platform by providing their basic information, including their skills, experience, and preferences.
User Profiles:
Users complete their profiles by adding detailed information about their skills, experience, and what they are looking for. Startup founders can describe their projects, goals, and the roles they want to fill, while IT experts can showcase their technical expertise.
Matching Algorithm:
TechMatch utilizes a sophisticated matching algorithm that considers user preferences, skills, location, and other relevant factors to suggest potential matches. The algorithm takes into account the compatibility of startup needs with the skills and interests of IT experts.
Match Recommendations:
Users receive match recommendations based on the algorithm's analysis. Startup founders are presented with a list of IT experts who best fit their project's requirements, and IT experts see a list of startups seeking their skills.
Communication and Connection:
Users can initiate communication through the platform to discuss potential collaboration. TechMatch provides tools for secure messaging, video calls, and collaboration proposals.
Project Management:
Once a match is made, TechMatch offers project management tools for teams to collaborate effectively. This includes features for task management, file sharing, and progress tracking.
Feedback and Reviews:
After a project is completed or a partnership is formed, users can leave feedback and reviews to build a community of trust and reputation.
Design References and Competitor References:
Design References:
TechMatch aims for a clean, intuitive, and user-friendly design. Some design references include the simplicity and elegance of websites like Airbnb and LinkedIn, which prioritize ease of use and clear information presentation.
We draw inspiration from freelancing platforms like Upwork and Toptal for their effective matching and communication features.
Competitor References:
Platforms like CoFoundersLab and FounderDating have similar concepts, but they are primarily focused on co-founder matchmaking. TechMatch offers a more comprehensive approach by accommodating both co-founder and team member searches.
AngelList is a notable competitor that connects startups with investors and talent, but TechMatch focuses specifically on matching startup founders with IT experts.
Web or Mobile:
TechMatch will start as a web-based platform to ensure accessibility and usability across various devices. However, a mobile app may be considered in the future to enhance user experience and provide on-the-go access for users.
I really hope you could help with this. Thank you in advance.
