    Hey,

    Landing page: https://talktomeabout.xyz/logo-design
    Logo: https://imgur.com/c6r4aX8
    Logo animation: https://gph.is/g/4z9vVD9

    Looking forward to your feedback!

      • Your website looks AWESOME
      • The logo animation is good too
      • The logo itself is nice and simple but should try to include the play button somehow
      • The colors look nice
      • Put your logo on the website. Not just the word "konvo"
      1. 1

Thank you! Adding the play button & the logo is a great idea.

        1. 1

Ok cool! Tell me how it goes ๐Ÿ˜„

    1. 1
      • The logo doesn't have good resolution on my 1080p 14in screen. It is very pixely
      • There is no text at all. I don't know the name
      • Is the logo supposed to be a "N"?
      • I don't know what the N tells me about SimpleTasking
      1. 1

Thank you, I'm back to the drawing board!

        1. 1

Wish you luck! I would be happy to do a logo for you! My email is [email protected]

Thanks for doing this, curious to get some feedback.

    Landing page: https://www.bookcamp.app
    Logo: Link

A bit of backstory: it's a calligraphed version of aleph, the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. In this form, it also ressembles a stylised fire camp. Both of these elements echoes the name Bookcamp. I know you're not supposed to mix books and fire but...

    1. 2
      • Purple logo looks nice. It is very different (in a good way ๐Ÿ˜„)
      • The font is super ugly though. Try a modern modern one like Poppins, Inter, or Rubik
      • Make your favicon logo round; not square
      • The calligraphed logo looks nice
      • The email form doesn't standout on your front page
      • The footer should have more information and links
      • You do not need a "request early access" link that goes to the bottom of the page when you already have a request early access form on the top of the page
      • Add some animate on scroll transitions to the content
      1. 1

Thanks for your feedback ๐Ÿ‘ I'll take those into consideration for the next update

        1. 1

Cool! Tell me how it goes!

    Hi!

    Landing page and logo: https://metatext.io

    Looking forward to your feedback!

    1. 1
      • If there is a accent color ๐ŸŽจ for your site, add it to the logo somehow
      • Make it a gradient? (light accent -> accent)
      • The X and T look to close together
      • The icon of the logo makes no sense to me. (explain what it means) ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
      • The colors are nice ๐Ÿ‘

      For the site:

      • The "Schedule a call for a demo" should not be in the footer. Put it right before it
      • Add videos to the screenshots ๐ŸŽฅ. I want to see it in action. Not just a screenshot
      • Add some AOS (animate on scroll) CSS transitions to the pictures
      • The people illustrations are cool ๐Ÿ˜„
      • The contact link shouldn't open into a new page
      • The contact form shouldn't take the whole width of the screen

      Hope it helps! ๐Ÿ˜„

I would be happy to do a logo design for MetaText!

      1. 1

Thanks, Brayden! I've updates the landing page and product validation, can you please do a last check? https://metatext.io

Yes I need a logo design, I'll contact you after validation phase :)

        1. 1
          • On my 1080p 14in laptop, the 3d images look cool, but aren't high restitution.
          • Make the "Why MetaText?" 4 sections popup when you scroll down. Try AOS
          • The title font and paragraph font should be different. Try "Inter" for the title
          • The contact form shouldn't take the whole width of the screen
          • The logos under "Build-in integration for platforms" should have more padding on the top

Hope that helps. Email me at [email protected] so we can talk about the logo ๐Ÿ˜„

cruu.io (the best darned React development tool ever conceived this week).

    Thank you! @BraydenTW

    1. 2
      • Instead of a black square around the logo, make it a more abstract shape. A circle, rhombus etc.
      • One the landing page, there is pretty much only black which makes you logo look like just plain text and it doesn't look like there is a black square around it. Go with a blue background for the front of the landing page
      • The video animation on the website is very cool

I've started learning React and I think something like this will help so much. Thanks! ๐Ÿ˜„

      1. 2

@BraydenTW thank you! We are very grateful for the excellent design advice!

        1. 1

          You're welcome! ๐Ÿ˜„

Hi Brayden, let me know what you think: Open Startup List

    1. 1
      • The cyan and red do not fit well together
      • It doesn't tell me much about your site
      • The graph icon next to your logo should be a bit bigger. It doesn't stand out much
      • The font looks good. Nice and bold ๐Ÿ˜„
  6. 1

Oh, now I'm curious what you think about Skyhop's logo!

    1. 1
      • I like how the shape of the plane isn't perfect ๐Ÿ˜€
      • The blue really pops out
      • Consider trying to make a blue background site with the logo having a blue outline and white background. Kind of like a dark theme for your site but it is blue ๐Ÿ˜„
      • Choose a different font for "skyhop": Inter, Rubik, Open Sans
      1. 1

Thanks for the feedback! On a previous landing page I had the white background blue outline combination, but it looked a bit cheap imho.

I'm currently using inter on the website, so I don't really think that'll play neat with the content. What font categories would you recommend using now? If I remember correctly I saw a number of brands moving back to serif fonts for their logos.

        1. 1

Ok that's fair. Stick with the colors you have then. Abril Fatface would be interesting to try. Also try using Abril Fatface with the titles on your website

  7. 1

    That would awesome ๐Ÿ‘€

    Plutio.com/brand

    1. 1
      • Very nice branding page ๐Ÿ˜€
      • Try using some of the yellow in your logo. Maybe in the hole of the P, you can add a yellow circle
      • The font for Plutio looks great
      • The color palette is chosen well
      • Favicon looks nice
      • (A little off-topic but...) when I click on the screenshots of Plutio on the branding page, it downloads it for me. I understand why you would use that for the logos, but for the screenshots it has no use for me

    https://www.buylocalized.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/buylocalized-minilogo.svg

I don't love ours at all. However neither me nor the graphic artists could think of images that really portrayed buying locally made stuff better than this.

    1. 1
      • The color has got to change
      • The dollar symbol doesn't stand out with all the other brown around it
      • It tells me nothing about your website.
      • The only thing I know about your website now is that it involves money ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

I'd be happy to give you some ideas and logos for BuyLocalized ๐Ÿ˜„

    https://www.eatradar.com

Tried to do a wordplay with Eat and Radar. E + Radar
It's suppose to be a beacon signaling out from the middle. Like a mini tower sending out signals.

    Anyways, thanks

    1. 1
      • I like that! I looks unique
      • The logo however seems to get lost next to the plate of fruits
      • Make it a bit less complicated. When your logo is inside the favicon, it is very small and I wouldn't be able to identify that it is EatRadar's. Add some simpler lines to it
      • The radar beam coming out of the E looks like an S. I am more focused on the S than the E

    Hi Brayden,

Here is one I made a 7-8 years ago and I still use it: https://www.usertrack.net/img/usertrack_logo.svg

    On site: http://usertrack.net/

    1. 2
      • The waves coming from the U tell me nothing and donโ€™t add anything to the logo
      • The U looks strange next to the rest of the text
      • Male the logo more oriented around the U and keep the rest of the text smaller (U is the big logo icon Andy the word UserTrack is next to it and smaller

Tell me if you have more questions ๐Ÿ˜„

      1. 1

Thanks a lot for the feedback.

The waves were supposed to represent waves/transmission/recording.

What would be the advantage of having a big logo separated from the text? I usually prefer logos which are one part only. I am asking this because also a lot of big companies (ebay, FedEx, Amazon, YouTube, Netflix, etc.) have the logo without a separate icon.

        1. 0

Those logos are have text that is consistent throughout. Yours has UserTrack with the U as your logo. It's your choice though.

The orange on white doesn't pass the WCAG test ๐Ÿ™Š
      https://whocanuse.com/?b=ffffff&c=fa541a&f=20&s=

      1. 1

That's true. If you look out even most of the popular brand's logo colors don't pass WCAG test.

That said, there is nothing called 100% accessibility. One or the other elements of the website always fall short.

    2. 1
      • nice idea but looks too generic. It wouldn't stand out in my opinion
      • the orange and white look nice
      • make sure to add the logo to the website link you sent me
      • play around with the wheel cheer icon. Try to not make it look regular. That is what people will see so you have to catch their attention

Let me know later on when you've made some changes. I'll be happy to give more feedback ๐Ÿ˜„

    Hey Brayden,

We are developing a 'query caching API' aimed at mobile app developers. Here's our logo:

    https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/556257241293127682/709967837585866762/image0.jpg

    1. 1
      • The blue to orange gradient is ugly
      • The font could be changed to something like Lato, Rubik, Open Sans, or Inter
      • The stack illustration behind the lightning bolt is good
      • The lightning bolt looks a tad bit too sloppy

If you have more questions, feel free to give me an email

      1. 1

Thanks very much Brayden. I had this feeling as well, I'll try to improve it asap

      Before looking at the site:

      • Helps you do something?
      • Has a checklist feature?
      • Productivity?

      After looking at the site:

      • I was somewhat right! ๐Ÿ˜„
      • The front page looks messy. There is too much going on.
      • There is too much text on your site
      • The checkmark on the logo should be highlighted a bit more. White border and green fill for the checkmark would be good.
