I'll help 3 indie hackers build their Twitter audience

I love this community so much and I've learned a ton here :)

Time to give back.

If you have an Indie project and you've been doubting to start with Twitter or your growth on Twitter is lagging... Reply to this message. I'll pick 3 people who I'll help build an audience for free.

You still have to do all the work though 😆😆😆

I'll help you avoid the pitfalls I fell in and I'll help you grow your audience. Actionable tips. No fluff.

I've been on Twitter since 2009. I had 700 followers in January 2019. I learned how Twitter worked when I joined Hypefury as a co-founder and I'm now above 3,700 followers in just a few months.

As I'm building a Twitter SaaS automation business I've seen what works and what doesn't :) I'm not the perfect guy to help you but I'm definitely not the worst guy either ;-)

I'll curate the process we go through and create a free ebook for the Indiehacker community to download so everyone can learn, grow their audience and (the end-goal?) increase your MRR through Twitter.

Wow this is so nice of you to do!

      Hey DailyDevTips,

The response on this topic was so overwhelming I decided to create a guide on IH. You can find it here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/the-indie-hacker-guide-to-building-a-twitter-audience-89d227e300

My twitter isn't linked to my software dev projects yet so I'll leave my spot for someone else and follow some of you guys that shared their profile in the comments.
    Cheers!

      Hey Semy,

I made a guide for everyone on IH's and gave some specific examples for you :) You can find the topic here: https://www.indiehackers.com/post/the-indie-hacker-guide-to-building-a-twitter-audience-89d227e300

I got a lot of value out of this course: https://gum.co/BMsdO

It mainly focuses on how to engage in conversations with your customers on Twitter.

Hey! I try to get some followers on Twitter (well, at least it looks like I can advertise and build a community around the product there in future _)
    My twitter: https://twitter.com/rawerse
    The product: https://rawerse.com

That's a nice idea! I don't have product yet, but looking forward to read the ebook.

Hey Yannick, that's a very nice proposal! Would be awesome to be able to count on your tips. I had just 7 followers at the beginning of May but I reached 100 followers in less than a couple of weeks –mainly thanks to the "Hacking Twitter" movement that took place in this community–. You can find my profile here.

I'm currently working on a couple of side projects that would love to promote:
    – Spotista // a newsletter that sends you periodic reports on your Spotify listening statistics.
    – BIG? NOT YET // a project that aims to promote talented but not-so-known-yet artists.

    Cheers!

This is a great idea @YannickVeys. I have seen some great stuff from Hypefury and yourself and Samy over the past few months. Great to see you are having good success with it. I am looking to start growing on Twitter myself https://twitter.com/gordonfrayne . I will definitely keep an eye out for the ebook once you gather some insights too. Keep up the great work!!

Hey @YannickVeys, just launched a newsletter telling what we can learn from pre-internet companies. How they were created, motivations, how they grew using "influencers", running a/b tests, distribution channels, etc.

I want to grow my twitter account https://twitter.com/leonagano around the subject and would appreciate if you can help me

Hey, that's a cool idea. If you want I can trade knowledge of how to grow an Instagram account? Just launched mine a month and a half ago and now have over 800 followers.

My brand has an irreverent TOV so I think it should do well on Twitter but with the focus on Instagram, I've been putting off working on Twitter.

Good news, Yannick! Thanks for giving back.

I am currently all-in at Twitter. Putting thoughtful pieces, engaging with interested people I could reach.

Would love some help and guidance.

I also write a lot so might help you with your book. That sounds interesting to me also.

    Would be helpful!

This is my Twitter url: https://twitter.com/richardreeze

Twitter is the #1 source of traffic to my startup's website (other than Google). And yet I personally suck at it.

@YannickVeys this is very helpful of you. If you have room for a service, I hope you'll consider my positioning service for B2B startups: http://pregrowth.guide

Great. Here is what I am doing.
Problem: It was very hard for me to manage remote team.
Solution: We made http://plankarma.com to solve our own problem. It is the dashboard showing all team member's today's mood(what they feel today), timezone, tasks, working progress for a day or week, etc.
I am technical person but need help to market or grab initial users.

    Let me know your thoughts.
    Thanks

    Hi Yannick,

I went from 20 to 680 followers in the past 3 days with the launch of my book. I would appreciate your advice as I try to grow this new audience and deliver the value that people have signed up for.

    1. 1

Yeah, I saw Philip! Great stuff man :) Keep doing what you're doing :)

Keep sharing your Gumroad stats. Tag people who helped and be genuinely helpful in that tweet where you tag em in. Don't just fish for RT's.

As you post on multiple platforms, share those steps + results too.

    Hey Yannick,

What's your goal? What's your Indie project?

  27. 1

    Hey Yannick,

Thanks so much for your kind consideration. Great work with HypeFury by the wwy.

I would love to be considered for this. My goal is to get rid of my mental blocks towards tweeting regularly. As well as build an audience to whom I can eventually share new products that I build and gain early feedback/adoption (I build SaaS products that other entrepreneurs can use).

Hey Yannick! I launched Ampstor with my team 3 months ago - https://www.ampstor.co.
It is a visual nocode editor where you can create web pages that look like Instagram stories. As this whole 'stories on the web' industry is quite new, we need more people to hear about it. So yeah... if you want to help me out - I would be really grateful!
