Hey hackers,
I’ve been obsessed with the operational side of Shopify lately.
One thing that consistently blows my mind: even in 2026, most merchants are still spending 10-20 minutes manually copy-pasting data to list a single product. It’s a massive growth killer.
I built Filleo to turn that into a 15-second task. It’s an agentic AI that takes messy product data (supplier sheets, PDFs, raw notes) and transforms it into a ready-to-publish listing.
It handles the titles, formatted descriptions, SEO tags, HS codes & everything else automatically.
The Tech/Strategy: I’m currently in the pre-launch phase, focusing on the "high-frequency listers" who add products one-by-one.
It just launched Today On Product Hunt, so feel free to try it out from the below link. It only takes a few seconds but once you try it, trust me you'll very much like it!

Shipping at 17 is impressive, and the wedge ('this thing should take 15 seconds, not 15 minutes') is the right shape. One thing I'd push back on hard: $1.99/month is dangerously underpriced for the value you're describing. If you're saving a merchant 15 minutes per listing and they list 30 products a month, you've returned them 7.5 hours of their time. That's worth $29 to $79 a month easily for a working Shopify merchant. Underpricing this early caps your customer quality, makes review-driven discovery in the App Store harder (cheap apps attract cheap reviewers), and is brutal to raise later. Start at $19 or $29, give a real free trial, and let the merchants who can't justify the price self-select out.
Good point here ^^
It's too easy to undervalue yourself. I've tried to get into the habit of asking myself "how much is time worth" and applying that mindset to pricing based on how much time is saved/gained.
Here's an example actually. I got a donabe to reduce time I spent cooking food because it cut into work time. It was around $200. Expensive for a pot, but I thought: It's simple, and it could save me over an hour a day. Easily paid for itself.
If you're saving someone time with a service/product, the value scales with that IMO.
Reducing listing friction is honestly one of the highest leverage things you can do for marketplace/e-commerce growth.
A lot of people focus on traffic first, but if creating inventory is slow or mentally draining, supply growth becomes the bottleneck long before demand does.
The interesting part is that shaving a process from 15 minutes down to seconds doesn’t just save time — it changes whether people consistently list at all.
That’s where compounding starts.
This hits close to home! I remember launching my first Shopify store 2 years ago - the product listing process was honestly one of the most tedious parts. Copy-pasting supplier data, rewriting descriptions, trying to figure out SEO tags... If Filleo existed back then it would have saved me hours. Congrats on the launch, great timing and a real problem you're solving!
I agree with the build-in-public angle. The most useful updates are usually specific: what was tested, what changed, what failed, and what will be improved next.
One question I'd love to understand deeper: how did you handle the data accuracy problem? Supplier sheets and PDFs are notoriously messy — what's your approach to making sure the AI doesn't hallucinate things like wrong HS codes or incorrect pricing? That's usually the gap where apps like this fail, so curious how you tackled it.
First off, massive congratulations on the launch! Building and shipping a Shopify app at 17 that solves a genuine operational bottleneck is incredible. The 'high-frequency listers' segment is definitely the right hook to find early adopters.
Since Filleo processes messy input like supplier sheets and PDFs to automate titles, SEO tags, and even HS codes, I have a quick question on the architecture:
How are you structuring the agentic pipeline to handle variations in supplier PDF layouts without breaking the schema mapping? Also, are you using a vector database to cache frequently looked-up HS codes for specific product categories to reduce LLM latency during bulk/one-by-one listing generation?
Dropped a support upvote on Product Hunt. Rooting for you guys!
Shipping a real product with a live launch and demo already puts you ahead of most people talking about building startups. Respect.
17 and shipping a real product with a live Shopify listing and a demo video. That's not a project — that's a business. Respect.
The insight driving this is solid: 10-20 minutes of manual work on a task people do hundreds of times a month is always a good target. The best SaaS products I've seen aren't built on big ideas, they're built on "why is this still manual?"
One thing I'd watch as you grow: the merchants who list products one-by-one are your early adopters, but the ones who list in bulk are where the revenue ceiling is. Keep an eye on which power users start asking for batch workflows — that's probably your next tier.
Good luck on the PH launch today. Rooting for you.
That’s awesome, love it!
Hi all the best!!! amazing build!
Hello Ehaan, this is dope
Building Filleo at 17 to fix Shopify's slow product listing bottleneck is impressive. Turning messy data into complete listings in seconds sound super useful.
keep shipping would love to try it.
Congratulations! How did you find your first users/data for testing now that people are so swamped with apps?
Impressive initiative at 17! The 15-second product listing is a compelling angle — Shopify merchants deeply feel that copy-paste pain. Curious about your go-to-market: are you targeting merchants directly or going through Shopify agency/developer partners who manage multiple stores? The latter could be a strong multiplier early on since they'd spread it across their whole client roster. What's been the biggest adoption hurdle so far?
Congrats on launch! Upvoted!
Thanks!
its amazing did you planed to get bulk reviews for its shopify account ?
Congrats dude! Having that entrepreneurship at your age is amazing.
Congrats on the launch! It’s actually surprising that this hasn’t become the standard yet, considering we see this same logic working so well in other sectors. In banking, for example, you just put in an invoice number and the system handles the rest of the data entry - it makes total sense to bring that level of automation to Shopify.
Since you're using agentic AI, how does Filleo handle more complex data like technical specs or multi-language supplier sheets?
