I'm a CSE student, 18 doing 1:1 outreach to every waitlist person right now. I've closed deals before — 85% conversion rate at my last sales internship. But converting strangers who already said yes? Apparently different.
So roast it:
Is the idea flawed?
Is the positioning wrong?
Is "AI guidance platform for founders" too vague?
Would you pay for this?

I'd be careful treating this as a conversion problem too quickly.
The dangerous part isn't having 0 customers.
The dangerous part is having enough positive signals to feel validated while still not knowing which signal deserves the most trust.
That's one of those decisions that can quietly shape positioning, customer selection, and what gets optimized next.
I wouldn't make that call casually from the current data.

The only thing I'd be careful about is that I've seen founders get a useful idea from a signal and then accidentally give that signal more weight than it deserves.
That's usually where things get confusing later.
