I'm 49, can't code, and just built my first AI SaaS. This is my "build in public" journey.

My name is Yasu, and this is the start of my public journey building ExperiaHub.

For the last 20 years, my world has been hospitality and marketing, not software. But a few weeks ago, on a long flight, I had an idea I couldn't shake: to build an AI travel concierge that solves the frustrations I've seen firsthand in the industry. The problem? I'm not a developer.

Instead of letting that stop me, I decided to see if the new wave of AI tools could act as my technical co-founder.

The result: in 5 weeks, I went from a simple idea to a live, functional SaaS platform.

ExperiaHub is an AI-first travel marketplace. It uses a conversational AI (built on Gemini/Pinecone/Zep) to connect travelers with unique, authentic experiences, bridging a tech and language gap I saw in the Japanese tourism market.

This was, without a doubt, the most challenging and rewarding professional experience of my life. It was a rollercoaster of incredible "aha!" moments and maddening, hair-pulling bugs (I'll share the story of my 50-node workflow nightmare in a future post).

I'm sharing my story here to connect with other founders and to be transparent about the process. I truly believe we're at the start of a new era where deep industry experience, not just coding ability, is the biggest asset a founder can have.

My plan is to post regular milestones here as I work on getting my first users, iterating on the product, and navigating the fundraising process.
