I'm a solo, non-technical founder who builds by prompting. I just launched ASOF.ai, a second opinion for your code and your prompts.

Hey All,

I'm Sea, a solo founder out of Georgia. I'm not a classically trained engineer. I learned to build with AI tools, by prompting, and two things kept burning me along the way.

First, the AI would hand me code that looked right and ran fine, then quietly broke later because it had assumed something I never thought to check. Second, I'd burn through AI credits on prompts that were too vague, getting halfway-right results and re-rolling the same request over and over.

So I built ASOF.ai, it's the second opinion I wished I had.

🔵 Check Code - paste any code, yours or an AI's, and it tells you what was assumed, what could break, what to verify, and whether it's safe to ship. On the top tier it gives you a safer rewrite side by side.

🟣 Check Prompt - paste the prompt you're about to send an AI, and it flags what's vague or missing before you waste credits, with a sharper, ready-to-send rewrite on the top tier.

The honest part: I built this mostly solo, and I just finished migrating it off a hosted platform onto my own infrastructure (GitHub, Neon, Render) so I actually own it. It's pay per check, one free to start, then $0.50 / $1.00 / $2.50. No subscription.

I'd genuinely love your feedback.

What stood out to me is the shift from checking outputs to checking assumptions. A lot of AI-generated code looks correct until an unstated assumption collides with reality. Treating those hidden assumptions as the thing to inspect feels like a much stronger framing than simply positioning it as another code review tool.

Thank you so much for the comment. Yes , you are exactly correct. I have spent countless hours trying to get a code to work. I had to learn the hard way that code can look right and still break, I didn't know that was possible. Some of projects , I had to rethink the vision because of what I envisioned vs what AI was putting out. I'm hopeful this will help.

I think that's exactly where the bigger strategic decision starts.

I've got a couple of observations about how that changes the way founders should evaluate AI-generated code, but they're easier to explain than squeeze into a thread.

If you're interested, what's the best email to reach you on?

          Hi Aryan.

Thank you. Yes I'd love to hear , but we cant place an email in these threads. If you go to the app and click on contact you can send me a message. Thank you.

Thanks! I've just sent it through the contact form on ASOF.ai.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you get a chance.
