Hey everyone
I'm Manirathanm, a student founder from Hyderabad, India.
Over the past few months, I've been building Bhumikaa — a broker-free real estate platform where buyers and sellers can connect directly.
The idea came from seeing how frustrating property search can be:
Duplicate listings
Fake or outdated information
Endless broker calls
No transparency
I'm not claiming I've solved all of these problems.
In fact, building a marketplace has been much harder than I imagined 😅
One piece of advice I got recently really stuck with me:
"Don't chase distribution until you have liquidity."
Instead of trying to cover an entire city, I'm now focusing on building density and trust in smaller areas first.
I recently made a short product demo:
I'm still very early:
Solo founder
No funding
Learning as I go
First few users are joining
I'd love to hear from founders who have built marketplaces:
What's the hardest part about creating liquidity?
How did you get your first 100 users?
Any mistakes I should avoid?
Thanks for reading.
keep going brother, nice idea
thank you brother!!
