I'm about to launch a SaaS boilerplate...
I am about to launch an opinionated SaaS boilerplate. It is a modern full-stack application, built with multi-tenancy in mind and a better developer experience. (Next.JS + Prisma + Stripe + Tailwind CSS)
I'm wondering whether releasing it as an Open Source will be better in the long run, or releasing it as a paid repository access will be better.
I, for one, know the value of what I'm building and creating, and the effort and time that it usually takes to set up a SaaS project really takes a long time.
I'm leaning more towards the Open Source path as of the moment, but I'd like to know and hear the pros, the cons, and your feedback regarding this matter.
It’s up to you - do you want to make money from it? If so, sell.
Or do you want to use it as content marketing, build a reputation and audience, and use that as a platform to get into info products? If so, open source.

I'm actually leaning towards releasing it as an Open Source project since I'll be working on a SaaS product on top of this one. Might be useful for the community.
