After a couple of months in development I'm finally ready to launch wrapi.io! At least as an alpha, tho. And yes, it used to be a "I could do this in a handful of weekends" side project. 😄
The product at a glance: wrapi.io is a #API-Wrapping-as-a-service tool which makes it super easy to wrap REST-APIs. In a minute you'll be able to securely create an API out of your.. let's say: AirTable. Or any other Access-Key-based API.
The focus is on customization: Each project has it's own wrapi.io subdomain (yourapi.wrapi.io) and you have full control over each single endpoint. You literally drag&drop your API. You'll also be able to combine different data sources in a single API. Like having your Products in AirTable and the Blog in a Wordpress? Just mix it your way and create your own wrap!
I think with the multiple fetch and combine of different sources and calling multiple webhooks on a single endpoint it will stand out especially. Almost like "automation on an API-Level". I really like the direction that's going.
So, I'm excited to launch. I can't wait to meet my first users! I actually don't now if it's #nocode enough? Or is it already #lowcode? Or maybe it's just a lazy developer thing? But I definitely feel like every Indiehacker regardless his/hers background has at some point the urge to create a flexible REST API with all the tools he wan't to use.
^- That and more questions to solve in the upcoming alpha! ✌️
If you are interested make sure you don't miss the alpha: Every alpha project will receive a lifetime benefit! ✨
Oh we also have a product page here! 👋
